Terrafirma shocks - TüV question
I ordered myself a set of terrafirma4x4 monoshock standard hight shocks for my 110 and noted that there are no TüV documentations with the shocks. Did someone have any issues with TüV/MFK with these? My swiss mechanic is rather relaxed with them as he said there should be no issues, but who knows…

Nothing shown on the fitting instructions on the Terrafirma website

Might be worth sending and email and asking - enquiries@terrafirma4x4.com

In the past i am sure it was more obvious, maybe it was in the brochure.

Good luck

I think maybe in Switzerland this might be relevant (to them at least). I recall all things related to cars are complicated in Switzerland. This is one of these 'no-fun-allowed' places.

Now, does the inspector look at every part to see if it has the Tuv approval? I really doubt it. Will there be a forensic examination of the car after an accident, I doubt that very much as well.

Like most of Europe: too many rules but very little in real enforcement.

Yeah Swiss MFK/TüV is a pain - but I've been told there is often a work around possible...

but in regards to the Terrafirma shocks - I contacted them and they issued me CoC's for the front and rear suspension, stating that they are made with the Defender 110 in mind.

I'll add it to the documentation just to be on the safe side but would be surprised if they have any issues with the shocks. Also especially since they are standard ride height spec. Td5 110 Station
