Absolute poverty spec would have included

Seats in vinyl
Centre dickie seat (no cubby)
Manual windows
Possibly a radio (could have had just a tray in its place)
Steel wheels
Maybe a non adjustable tow pack
3 door with no rear windows
No A/C
No ARBs
No ABS or TC
PAS was standard
No side steps
No chequer plate
Spare wheel
Black light surrounds and grills
No metallic paint
No bumper end caps
Nothing heated
Sun visors (don't laugh these were optional at one time)
Basic interior matting (but tough as nails) in the front, nothing in the rear
Maybe foot well mats.

It would have been very basic, but highly practical.

As it happens those are pretty darned useful. Not so much with H4 lights, but with the higher output JW Speakers LEDs I use the dip function a lot so as not to annoy other road users.

Not sure if it was for a TD5, but the 200TDI era the rear door heater and wiper were extras as well.
