It’s here, almost!
For the past two weeks I felt like I’ve been banging my head against a wall with my dealer, I was told that I had a build date of around the 17th March and since then I’ve been trying to tie them down to find out what my final build specification is, emails ignored and those that were answered seemed fairly vague, so getting a bit fed up of this I arranged to go and see the dealer today to try and get some answers, well blow me down when I got there I was greated with “your car arrived yesterday would you like to see it”.
The good news every extra I ticked the box for has been fitted, including the big one for me HUD, no IDD but this was to be expected. The only slightly negative it looks like it’s been fitted with the standard Meridian sound system and not the surround sound one, but I can live with that.
Unfortunately I’m away for the next three weeks with work so can’t pick it up just yet, but this will give them plenty of time to fit all the dealer options I’ve gone for.
Obligatory pictures.

that's pretty quick if you ordered in November.

I ordered in May 2022, it was built on 17th Feb and I collected on 23rd March ( after dealer mods needed to be fitted).

I had many calls/emails throughout the period saying things were being dropped off, then back on again.

like you the HUD was a big one for me and offsets the lack of IDD IMO as with the big screen and HUD I dont bother with the centre display if I am honest. some have said the info on the Analogue is a little small to see but it doesnt concern me.

I had all USB's ( A's & C's) fitted , along with 2 keys which were also at risk at one point.

like you, mine is standard Meridian - at one point even this was off the cards for me but it got back in there and the standard one is pretty good.

I got Matrix LEDs thrown in to compensate for the Analogue.

I am still waiting on Dealer to supply and fit the Mud Flaps and the Activity Key. Oh, and sort out the InControl which they seem incapable of doing Evil or Very Mad

Its a very nice drive and all the family love it. Defender D250 HSE

That’s good to hear that the standard sound system is ok. I’m not sure if I’ve got all the USB’s or not, though I did notice a couple in the front and rear. I’d also read about the shortage of mud flaps, mines getting the Explorer pack fitted which includes the mud flaps so will have to see if these get fitted or not, though the dealer never mentioned anything about them not being available.

Well picked the car up almost two weeks ago, loving it so far. The only thing missing was the air intake snorkel but it’s booked in to get that fitted in a couple of weeks. So far I’ve fitted a rear spoiler, light pod, replaced the silver side steps and roof ladder rungs all with black replacement parts. The only other thing I’m thinking of is a set of 22” wheels but will wait and see on that one.

Yes it’s quite easy to fit, just need two people when it’s being place in position on the roof. Could probably be fitted in an hour.
I tried it on the lane last night, certainly seems very bright, this is just with the lights from the pod on.
