I made my own extender leads and used old switch bodies from a breakers yard to form the male connector. Cost me about 5 quid per extension.

Martin,
Do you have a loom to allow the original TDI Hazard switch (at knee level beside steering wheel) to be converted to the TD5 style switch on the console? |

Yes I can provide a plug for the Td5 style switch and a long enough wiring tail to reach the old location, but there is nothing available to match up to the pre-Tdi hazard switch socket.
So it would be a case of: a) find some matching bullets to push into original socket b) cut off the original socket and fit an alternative connector pair - one onto the vehicle loom and one onto my wiring tail. You can also fit a connector to the removed original socket, allowing refit of the original later c) if it's a one-way mod cut off the original plug and join wires straight to wiring tail for new plug ![]() ![]() |

Martin,
Sorry for the late reply, I assume this has a decode for which wires go where? I can live with cutting off the old loom and splicing in the new one. Are available in the shop? and how much? |

Wires will match existing colours as far as possible, with a cross-reference for any which don't.
Drop me a PM to discuss ordering and payment etc ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Good evening are the extension cables available or for sale? I would like to get a price for hazard light switch extension on a puma?
Tried looking for a shop link, thank you. |

Martin do you make a loom for moving the switches (pre 02) from beside the door to 2002 centre dash?

Not for the earlier switches I'm afraid Nick, as matching plugs for the earlier connectors aren't available (and demand not enough to design one)
