My 18v 1/2 inch Milwaukee impact wrench has paid for itself many times over on various vehicles including large stubborn nuts/bolts in awkward locations.
Having multiple torque settings comes in handy , especially with smaller fixings, as you can start at the lower setting and work your way up, thus reducing the risk of sheering a bolt. I still clean threads and soak in penetrating oil such as plus gas and so far have always managed to remove every nut and bolt with relative ease, in particular ones that just felt they were going to shear when using a breaker bar. |
