Defender Center Channel speaker

My Defender have the 400W 11 speakers package. I noticed the other day that on the dashboard there is this square shaped thing which had speaker under it. I found that its called center channel speaker or tweeter speaker. I removed the plastic cover and noticed that the speaker doesn’t work on my carplay and radio. Does anyone have an idea if this was a fault or Land rover just had these speaker on all models and work only if you have the 700W package. Please help me out

The 11 speaker system does not have a centre speaker, so it’s odd that there is one fitted, but as you say it doesn’t work. See info below

Thanks whiterdesign for your reply and the link is so helpful

You can see the image that there is a speaker and i also opened the trim and found it already wired.

By any chance can i get it to work or should contact the dealership about?

What engine do you have? Is it a speaker for false engine noise?

Well, that another feature l don't have to worry about on my base spec Commercial

All l have under that cover is a hole.

TBH l am surprised the audio system sounds so good with only two door speakers and two tweeters. When you are moaning about your "lousy" ten or thirteen speaker/sub setup, think of me with four speakers and no sub.
