Front seat positioning during access to 2nd row at 90
Hello together

I bought a 21 Defender (2021) and have the electrial seats. To move them forward (for access to 2nd row), I have to press the button at the seat 1 time for forward, but have to press the other button for backward all the time until final position. I thougt this is standard...until yesterday. My son pressed the button for backward also only one time and the seat moved back without press the button. But later it was not possible again.
Is it standard that we have to press the button all the time or is there a situation where it is enough to press it one time?

On mine I have to hold the button for the seat to move back. It may be a safety measure to avoid crushing someone or thing behind the seat. One quick way is to hit the memory button on the door, when the ignition is on or recently switched off.

The memory button is my way to shorten the effort. But really, yesterday it works with the knob on the seat.
It is also my idea, that the function is restricted because of the safety.

I will try it again today...
