The door lock latch is not quite seating properly. This could be either the striker has moved inwards or the plastic sleeve around the striker has become worn.
If the plastic sleeve is in good order then the striker is too far inwards towards the centre of the cab. You need to re-adjust it. Undo the Torx bolts and gently move outwards. If you are nervous draw a pencil line around the white spacer so you can return back to where you began. |

So i've tried moving the striker outwards slightly. The door catch holds the door fine but I can still part open the door when locked.

I'm no expert but I'm sure others have posted on this before. Mine did this when freezing cold and was fine when thawed. I think it's the mechanism sticking.

I've tried soaking everything I can in WD40 to see if that helps - but no luck.
I'm pretty sure that with the door locked you should be able to push the button on the handle all the way in with no resistance. Instead, mine feels the same locked or unlocked. 🙁 |
