On a 90, they are M6. Also on a 90, the horizontal bolt goes into a square nut held captive by a flimsy steel bracket. That nut usually starts spinning with no effort at all.

Thanks anyway. I think you’re right they are m6 -
and the horizontal nut sounds as you suggest, it’s just odd I can’t unscrew it fully - or pull it out with nippers, I get it some way out and then it just spins…it does feel like it’s still held in, but by what I can’t work out. Ed. |

LRWorkshop diagram. See position 12 for the captive nut. But again, no idea if it applies for a DC. But does not mention anything specific as being for a 90.
