Go new. It’s a fit and forget job for the next 100k then, roughly. 2008 2.4 110 Utility Station Wagon XS.

Are you changing due problems or as a precaution due to mileage?
I ask as mine is on similar mileage approaching 100k. |

Why do you think that they need replacing? They should last much longer than that.

Reason I was thinking of replacing the turbo is i had the top intercooler hose off with engine running and it’s spitting out a fair amount of oil?
Also in low revs it doesn’t feel a smooth delivery of power it’s hard to explain but it’s also most slightly hesitant then smooths out the fast you go I’ve cleaned the maf and the map sensor, map sensor was covered it soot I’ve replaced the scv new fuel filter and oil air filter. |

I recommend checking the crankcase ventilation also....
Your description makes me think of another leakage. |

Your description of "hesitation" makes me think that. Do you hear a turbo-whistle as well? Maybe it is not only one problem. A smoke test to check for leaks (intercooler, piping etc.) would be very helpful.
Edit: delete EGR if possible |

Maybe hesitant wasn’t the right word it just doesn’t feel right, I’ve fitted a new allisport intercooler with new hoses.
So I’ve just used forscan and tested the injectors Cylinder 1 -0.383mg Cylinder 2 -1.492mg Cylinder 3 -1.89mg Cylinder 4 3.79mg Looks like one injectors faulty on cylinder 1? Another thing that didn’t look right was the air in take temps IAT 87c IAT2 16c Cylinder head temp 53c What sensor takes the the first IAT? Thanks again |
