2010 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 HT Santorini Black

Defender 90 rear spring lengths

Does anyone happen to know the rear spring lengths for a defender 90? I seem to have odd springs on my new truck and can't work out which one is the correct length...

Hi, genuine Landrover original springs are colour coded with paint stripes to identify the spring and rate. You may be able to find some traces of paint on yours.
The chart in the link below is a very good reference for original specs and some common aftermaket springs.

The genuine springs are different specs for LH or RH. Aftermarket are often the same for both sides.
NRC9448, Driver side non HD, blue/red, 15.3"
NRC9449, Passenger side non HD, yellow/white, 14.8"

I recently changed the rear springs on my 90 as the ride was shocking so changed everything just to be safe. I can measure the take off springs if you want as they’re in the garage. They’re some of the progressive ones for a CSW but not sure which ones as can’t see any paint markings.

I replaced with some normal Flatdog springs which weren’t the same length so I put the longer one on the drivers side. They might be aftermarket as from what I can gather with the introduction of the Puma they started making all springs the same length.

Thanks all - very useful as ever

Having checked, it looks like it's actually on the correct springs - is it normal for them not to sit level (rides higher drivers rear side, but have never noticed this one other defenders I've had), or is there a chance one of the springs has sagged?
