Thanks, I run them on my series one, they fill the arches nicely and the offset improves the turning circle.

Not sure that will help?
If the wheels are 1” wider and the centre of the wheel is 1/2 inch further outboard, then the inner edge of the wheel rim will be in the same place. If you are comparing the same size tyres on both 5.5” and 6.5” rims, then the tyre will be a bit more stretched I suppose, but not by much. That’s why they changed the offset for the wider rim! |

204s have a deeper offset than standard rims so end up with a wider track, not a narrower or equivalent track. The super rare 203s are half an inch deeper again but sell for around £400 a corner.

Yes wheel track, which is measured at the centre of the wheel, is wider,
But inside edge of rim remains the same (within a mm anyway) due to the reduced offset. Outside edge of the rim is an inch further out each side. This is comparing 5.5x16 33 offset to 6.5x16 20.6 offset. |

The various styles of 6.5 inch 'deepdish' wheel don't all have a +20.6 offset though
The 569203s are closer to zero, I recently sold my last one so can't measure it exactly... |

Lots of free bumps to sell the wheels….
I suspect the 569203 was 3/4” less offset. So in old (proper) measurements, 1-5/16 has 33mm stamped on them. I think I did see some stamped 33.3mm 13/16 has 20.6mm stamped on them And I guess the 1/16 is what the 203s are but don’t appear to have an offset stamped on them. I have also heard there are some 203s that are pushed out further. Probably by an extra 1/4” The 569204 is quoted as being superseded by anr1534. My 3 sets of 6.5” steels all have the 20.6 offset stamped on them. |

FWIW none of my 204 or 203 rims have any measurement stampings on them, I always assumed that to be a later (1980s?) feature. 2011 110 USW
