Heritage look but what lights?
Currently mid way through converting a 90PU into a heritage look with soft top etc etc.
All lights are original but just wondering others thoughts on some more up to date LED lamps for indicators, side and tail lamps?
Been looking at the clear lens ones. I know it's all down to personal preference but just wondered others thoughts. If I do the the indicators and side lights, I've probably got to upgrade the headlamps to complete the look.
Undecided. Rolling Eyes

What about standard units but LED bulbs? Otherwise I think coloured LED units suit the heritage look better than clear. For headlights, have a look at Trucklites. Charlie

It's hard to understand how clear lights could be compatible with a heritage flavour.

Yep, this was another option I'm considering. Original look but brighter.

Please don’t put LED bulbs in the standard reflector housing.. it’s an MOT fail and dazzling for oncoming traffic.

Of the led options, imho the trucklites look quite classic as you don’t see any globe as per most.

Its only an MOT fail for later vehicles (post 85 from mmeory?) and if they are high quality units then there is NO dazzle......
I have PIAA conversions fitted to 2x personal vehicles and neither the MOT tester nor anyone I have followed report any issues at all

I have far more issues with modern vehicles that seem to be set to blind full stop!!

No, I definitely wouldn't do that. It would be whole units I'd replace as part of the reason is to give the truck a fresher look.
