Updating Pivi Maps
Hi all,
Has anyone updated their Pivi maps since taking delivery, I always thought this was down with the OTA updates, but I got a message the other day saying an update was available online to download.
I see there's a link online, just wondering has anyone managed to do this before I go messing with it?

Thanks

Yes I've done it twice now, follow the instructions on the Land Rover site to create your USB drive and then when you are going on a long drive just plug the drive in and start the car. I say do it on a long drive as if it hasn't finished updating and you turn the car off the update will just start again next time you get in, it won't carry on from where you left off Confused Also take the time it tells you it will complete in with a pinch of salt, it usually takes longer Rolling Eyes Thumbs Up Cheers Ian

I can’t for the life of me get the USB updates to work - I just get an error saying the update failed and to remove/reinsert the drive. I’ve tried multiple 32gb drives all with FAT32 format. Just fail at various points.

Seeing as it takes over an hour to install, it gets quite tedious. I’ve connected the car to the home wifi to see if the OTA might be quicker.

My Mini takes about 20mins to update and keeps the ignition on during the process, why does JLR switch it off. Volvo also resumes the install from the last point.

Rubbish!

yes it does but only for your local region, so if you want to drive to Europe you would have to manual update 110 XS 250 MY 23 Gondwana Stone, Cold climate pack and towbar
