I'm not sure what a "turbo box" for a winch is, and I guess from the lack of replies the rest of the world is equally baffled!

2006 Defender 110 Td5 USW Zermatt Silver
From memory it was a box of tricks that allowed you to run your winch at 24 or 12 volt so you could massively increase the speed of the winch, when required such as competition.

Yip, that's the one.
They do a single motor and twin motor version, single one is what I'm looking for.

I think it was a collection of relays (albrite) that had to run off of a 24v system on the vehicle.

So when you "boosted" it, on a 12v winch, it just stuck 24v to the motor, in theory doubling the RPM's

How long a motor would last like this I don't know...

That is likely, really easy to implement on a vehicle with 24V supplied from two 12V batteries in series.
