bug fix
Hi,
does anyone know what is required for this bug fix? my speedo icon never goes above 1 and 92% on the display. i have reset the pivi

I'm sure somebody on one of the facebook groups said they had to take theirs in to have a fix applied which cured the problem, but I can't find that post now. Cheers Ian

It's the same across Pivi Pro. My old JLR company car Discovery Sport did the same from new.
Had to be sorted at the dealer.
Thankfully I'm out of my JLR employment, rid of the loathsome thing and back in my 110 utility everyday!

found the face book post re above.
it says the instrument pack cluster was updated. is this a hardware or software fix?

Update. was at the dealers to resolve this issue. could not sort it. raised a case with landrover.
I asked the original facebook poster and he said updated instrument pack.
not sure if things get communicated within land rover x series 3 88

been to dealer, supposed to have been fixed by s/w . still the same max92%.
back to the dealers next month fir a few days to see if LR can get the fix to them x series 3 88

I have the same problem. I have the velar MY21 P250 and the best I can get is 92% efficiency in Eco data score 5,1,5. I saw the same issue at discovery sport forum also with no answer. It is the only problem I have and the service interval is 2years or 34000KM so will it be a bad idea to wait another year to go to the dealer? Can it be a sensor fault or only software?

update from dealer. its back to LR to sort a software bug and a new release of software.
it affects various models. my courtesy car evoque, has the same problem.
no timescale yet for new software x series 3 88

When is works right it is possible to hit 100% I know it was a short journey

And my best mpg so far. Car only has 400 miles on it so should get better with time. Most of the journey done using adaptive cruise

How do you activate the eco driving score? When l
look at the screen everything is always on zero.

Do l have to set "eco" in the driving modes or is there a button to start it?.

The dealer phoned, the s/ware is available on some cloud based database but there seems to be no application to get it on the vehicle. Has anyone had the update done and can they tell me what the dealer did to fix the issue? x series 3 88

Hi, 90 was in for a recall today,N683
and at the same time the mechanic uploaded new software to the
instrument pack module

the 92% issues appears to have been solved.
spoke to the mechanic. it was a software upgrade to the instrument pack module
now shows the middle icon moving above 1 and 99/100% on the display.
will monitor to see if this is the long term fix.

fix done at Pentland Stirling x series 3 88
