Series seats in a puma?
So my ongoing debate is about what seats to put in my double cab. Stylistically I think I like the old series seats the best - but is there an easy way to get these to fit to the puma seat box? Googling has failed to find the answer. Thanks Ed.

I don't think I would want to fit seats that lacked head restraints into a Puma (it could cause type.approval and insurance issues) but I expect it could be done.

I didn’t think about the insurance. Ok back to my original dilemma - bucket or standard style? Maybe another poll…

Personally I have found the standard Puma sets to be about as good as it gets, they are the same shape as me at any rate. I actually find my Puma more comfortable than my Disco2 (I had to take the daft left foot rest bracket thingy off the Disco because otherwise I could not stretch my left leg out).

I am not a fan of bucket seats in Defenders, they are hard to get in to, hard to get out of, and not necessary, even when doing fairly extreme things off-road. I a however a fan of seats with head restraints, especially since in a standard Defender they are about your only roll-over protection.

I am also not a fan at all of the modern trend to make seats look as though they started life in a Parisian brothel, all leather, diamond stitching, and that sort of thing. I know it is only a matter of personal taste and it floats some people's boats, but yuk! Really? There are some truly hideous Defenders out there.
