Filler cap won’t open
I’ve had my P400e for 8 days and just been to the garage to fill up with fuel but unable to open the filler flap. Contacted LR Assist and now awaiting their arrival.

Didn’t think to test the flap when the car was delivered as it was delivered with a full tank of fuel and I haven’t needed to get fuel, until tonight. 2019 Range Rover SDV8 Autobiography

That was embarrassing. My new Defender has a petrol flap release button on the dash by the instrument display dimmer switch, as found by the AA response guy.

My previous P300 Defender didn’t have one as the flap was unlocked with the central locking. The manual makes no mention of this button. 2019 Range Rover SDV8 Autobiography

Well my D250 has no locking fuel flap you just press the rear and it opens, no locking fuel cap either

I have fitted an aftermarket locking fuel cap.

Apparently on the hybrid the fuel tank is non vented and you need to equalise pressure before you open fuel tank. The electric switch facilitates this

This is correct. It was the same with my i8 and now on Mrs Fifer’s Evoque hybrid.
