Alloy nuts for alloy wheel not long enough for spare tyre
I have just bought a new set of alloy bolts for standard defender alloy wheels. I attached the spare and tightened the nuts but there is still some play i.e. the thread on the bolts does not seem to be long enough. I assume I need some washers but not sure what size. Any help appreciated.

You need KTD500100. They go in before you put the wheel on. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing

You also use them to keep the spare from interfering with the rear wiper

Or you could just use some washers as spacers. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel
