drivers door lock fault / central locking bouncing
Hopefully someone can suggest a potential fix:

Today after driving I couldn't open drivers door, locked and unlocked door with fob and button but still no joy.

Undignified exit through passenger side, managed to pull top of door card away and undid all of the control rods and managed to fiddle with lock and got door to open.

The actuator 'bounces' when disconnected, swapped for a known good one - still the same. Wiring through pillar looks good. All other doors work 100% and all locks are always well lubed.

Reconnected everything and it now locks and unlocks off the fob OK.

Probably unrelated but the revs are hanging with the clutch depressed as well.

Any ideas anyone?

Cheers Keith

When I had an issue with the drivers door lock, it was corrosion in the lock barrel that had seized it into the handle.
Are you able to lock and unlock with the key?

I had the same problem on my passenger side. It only happened in the cold and once the temperature went back up it was ok. I did spray some wd40 into the peg as well. No idea if that helped or if it was a cold issue.
