My late fathers P400X
I thought about posting this and decided to if no reason other than document it for myself.

My dad has had Land Rovers of all sorts since the 70s, and his retirement timed roughly with New Defender being announced. He’d always driven Range Rovers and like the idea of going into a Defender. I ordered the highest spec I could as soon as I could load it to Vista - a P400 X with every possible factory option other than bigger alloys. Dealer fit winch (thats brackets where back ordered for ages…) and a few other bits. My then contacts at Solihull where happy to put it through the VIP handover for him at Solihull annoyingly just as a lock down hit and put an end to that!

He loved it, enjoyed the attention it got (always favourable) but my mum never took to it. Sadly a horse riding accident took him last Christmas and this got locked away in a barn. It’s now sold back into the trade and goes on Tuesday. A really great Defender that I hope finds someone to enjoy it and use the winch he was so desperate for!!

Sentimental post over!

Sad news indeed. Lovely looking Defender and not many available with the winch. First Edition 90 in Pangea Green. (Gone)
P400 110 in Tasman Blue.
