How is the engine running??
A melted plastic inlet manifold can often be caused by a stuck, bent valve. The EGR gasses should pass through a cooler. |

I had a crack develop in mine in pretty much the same spot last year, thankfully didn't blow a hole in it. Noticed some oily black marks on underside of the bonnet.
A genuine replacement from Ford is much cheaper than the same Ford part from Land Rover. |

Replaced inlet manifold with a good second hand one off ebay with new seals, sorted egr out , , after a local had two goes at a re map and stuck in over fuel on dpf, and then bloody fuel pipe breaks and poor parts supply sorted with a mix of old & new, ended up sending ecu to Bell Auto's , back in 3 days with stage 1 150 bhp , great service and running well. 2014 2.2 90 hard top , Warm M8000 , Scorpain winch bumper, Ashcroft rear atb
