Remember when Land Rover objected the Ineos Grenadier because it looked very like the old Defender? Well something similar has surfaced regarding the new electric Monro electric 4x4 vehicle.
Something else I find strange is that one of the reasons Land Rover cited for taking the Defender out of production was it slap fronted non pedestrian friendly feature. Yet both vehicles featured in the article, namely the Monro and the Bollinger have flat fronts. https://www.msn.com/en-ie/cars/news/bollin...5d8836f4b0 1982 88" 2.25 diesel 1992 110 200tdi csw -Zikali 2008 110 2.4 tdci csw-Zulu 2011 110 2.4 tdci csw-Masai |

That doesn’t make a lot of sense as the Monroe is a Foers Ibex and Bollo never objected to that.
Not to mention that the Bollo is up there with the Tesla UNicorn, I mean Cyber Truck. Or rather looks like a child drawing of a car yet no one has seen it in the real world. And finally these electric start up companies appear to me as more hopeful than actually having the capital to build and sell the things on their own. Maybe Bollo are just desperate for a cash injection. |

William Towns would be proud of both vehicles’ “flat pack” look. Self assembly kits to be sold by IKEA? I thought that was the case too, but Foers put something out a few weeks ago clarifying there was no connection at all between the 2, apart from some early consultancy work which didn't continue. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS |

Interesting, either a fall out or an effort to separate the 2 vehicles? |

I used to wonder if the Mrs and I were walking down the street and we met Brad Pitt if he would get upset as I had married an Angelina Jolie lookalike. Somehow I think Brad would have no worries 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

The Munro first prototype is an electrified Foers Ibex. The white vehicle in the photographs. The second prototype shown at the launch has a new chassis and body but uses Land Rover axles and transfer box. The body and inside shown were steel pressings and need a lot more development before production. There does seem some commonality in appearance with the Bollinger.
