Looks like a Brownchurch roof rack too - good bit of kit if it is! Euro-Leafing to infinity and beyond.....

Extended Brownchurch too... Proper wing mounted mirrors. Split screen. Bulkhead looks decent. So what 71/72/73 something like that?!?
Could it be a 2a?! Wander what's under the cover |

My friend (not into cars) said it is a 1970s Datsun under the cover. It is all local to me, I’m going to have a look tomorrow 🤞 for a petrol S3 LWB hard top. I know it’s unlikely to be battery and fuel to get going…but 😊

I’m intrigued Blackwolf - what is it you can see that identifies it as an S3? I can tell it’s a series but nothing more than that! |

Yup, those really naff windscreen hinges. The rot had set into the brand by the time the S3 hit the showroom, lots of plastic, poor quality steel, shoddy assembly, but we love them all the same.

Well, I’ve found it on Google Maps and it looks like a SWB, although the image isn’t great! I’ll pop along later and see if I can get some proper photos and a reg…

The original info was wrong, whilst the S3 is in his garden it turns out the Landy belongs to the neighbour, who has parked it there for many years. It will have to be moved on completion so it might still be available, just a bit more complicated than initially thought. I’ve got to have now anyway, I’ve already done the mental car juggle and decided it will be used for logs, farm duties and local shooting. The RR will be tucked away a bit.

Yup, that's an 88".
Tell the neighbour that to save him the cost of moving it he can leave it there if he signs it over to you. |
