Well I do not have much to add to that Devon-Rover
As for the legalities, I am sure someone will correct me here, this sort of idiocy might fall under the Driving without due care and attention of the 1988 road traffic act. I am fairly sure the other disco driver wedged under the bridge was penalised under this...!? At the end off the day this was in no way an accident |

Some of the other videos that that lot between them have put on YouTube are even more shocking, a complete disregard for the law and a total disrespect to other road users, locals, and the general public.
Very depressing really. |

It’s the ‘One life, live it’ Tw4ts that will ruin it for all. I’m not a fan of green laning be use too many idiots abuse what these ROW are.
I just hope the insurance companies make it prohibitive to have these wagons. |

Then they'll probably just not insure them, they don't respect the law as it is. Possibly they'll just not declare any mods!

An interesting project for a group of responsible volunteers. Technically the landowner's responsibility to clear, but who owns the river?

That would be Lord Newborough, anyone wanting to sort that tree out will have to get his permission and I can tell you right now he is no friend of off roaders... |

And there is the rub, once the water level is down it wouldn't take long to clear said tree, but as you say permission is to be sort and with the aforementioned idiocy demonstrated by the 'Alright Mate OLLI" then are we all surprised that he isn't too obliging.
Puts the council in a position to maintain the ROW. Also can be found on Fb, Ytube, Insta & Twitter @4WDSouthwest |

The council is technically obliged to intervene if the landowner fails to clear the RoW, however it will be a very low priority.

There is increasing pressure upon the local council to TRO this ford and other lanes because of disrespectful users... I have heard there is a whole group of land owners that are keen.

Hardly surprising, and I sympathize with them.

It is not often that my blood boils, but this afternoon I am furious 🤬 I guess it was always going to happen and I do not know why I am surprised enough to feel so angry...
Click image to enlarge Yes that is right at least two if not three 4x4s not being able to cross the ford along the normal route, due to a fallen tree, have taken it upon themselves to make another exit on the A5 side of this ford. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Absolute base level cretinous behaviour. One vehicle had Creepy crawlers fitted, another Simex copies and the other STT Pros but the looks of them. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge I know at least one of the vehicles was a Land Rover and it somehow managed to smash its headlight, including the H4 bulb... Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Now, there is a visible alternative route across the river more idiots are going to be tempted to try this crossing. Whoever did this appalling act of vandalism would have been utterly covered in mud and returned back to whichever rock they crawled out from underneath with only one headlight. This is not the act of someone that didn't know what they were doing. This is the act of someone that knew exactly what they were doing and were in all likelihood fully aware of what damage they were going to do. It will not take much of this for the ford to be TRO'd... |

I watched a few minutes of these Utube idiots, I couldn’t watch more than that with all the shouting an hollering. I looked at some of the comments that people had posted and they all seemed to think this was a great video, obviously there are plenty of these clowns out there.
