How things change...when I was trying to sell my 50th in 2010 I could barely give the thing away (90,000 miles, perfect chassis, body work, interior, LPG system) and swapped it for my current 2022 110 Td5 CSW in the end. Now they're making £40,000 - £45,000 in RHD configuration. Would be interesting to see the final hammer price, the estimate is optimistic I'd say.

^^^ This exactly, I thought I got good money for mine in 2012 at £12k for refreshed 76,000 mile 50th
I was pleased when it went as nice as it was I much prefer a nice tuned puma or TD5 to drive and at 12mpg wasn’t pocket friendly Formerly mao99999 16 Focus RS Nitrous Blue. 11 FFRR TDV8 Vouge SE Black Black. 08 DEFENDER SVX SOFT TOP (SUPERB) 08 DEFENDER 110 DCPU Stornoway grey (Overland Exploration Unit) 05 Fiesta ST 150 Van 04 Jaguar XKR 4.2 Supercharged V8 02 DEFENDER 90 TD5 (next years soft top project) 95 DEFENDER 110 CSW 300 TDi Phoenix black 95 DEFENDER 90 HT Monti Carlo blue COUNTY 300 TDi 67 109" SERIES 2a TUNED 200 TDI 64 DAVID BROWN 990 rat look 55 86" SERIES 1 |

12 MPG. Good to know!! I sat in one of them for sale in 2014 - and wondered if I could live with it. Bought a Yeti instead for the daily commute but wish I'd bought a Puma Defender instead. I was put off by a dealer technician who said not suitable for daily driving. Wish I had not listened. Could have bought a 2012 Defender for maybe 40K then? And still worth most of that now
Yeti was over £30k and wrth less than £10k i guess. The power to see the future eh? |

Mine did closer to 15mpg and with the LPG at half the price of diesel that's the equivalent of 30mpg with the Td5. Nicest Land Rover I've ever owned/driven - will seriously consider converting my Defender to auto when the left leg gives out!

^^^ I do have a heavy right foot and mine was RPI tuned approx 230bhp I didn’t get on with the antique autobox though.
Still the fastest Defender on my personal racetrack I could “straight line” a particular uphill roundabout at around 100mph and the remapped pumas struggle to hit 85 the FFRR will sit on cruise control at that though Formerly mao99999 16 Focus RS Nitrous Blue. 11 FFRR TDV8 Vouge SE Black Black. 08 DEFENDER SVX SOFT TOP (SUPERB) 08 DEFENDER 110 DCPU Stornoway grey (Overland Exploration Unit) 05 Fiesta ST 150 Van 04 Jaguar XKR 4.2 Supercharged V8 02 DEFENDER 90 TD5 (next years soft top project) 95 DEFENDER 110 CSW 300 TDi Phoenix black 95 DEFENDER 90 HT Monti Carlo blue COUNTY 300 TDi 67 109" SERIES 2a TUNED 200 TDI 64 DAVID BROWN 990 rat look 55 86" SERIES 1 |
