Rear Side Window Table
Is anyone able to share links to tables that fold down from the rear side window for my Puma 110, I do not want to remove the window so ideally a solution that goes over the top of the current window.

I have found the below but wondered if anyone knew of others available?

Not a direct reply I'm afraid.

I know you say you don't want to replace the window, but I fitted gullwings last year and they are really a "game changer" for camping. So easy to just lean in to the car and fetch out your brew kit, or pots and pans or whatever.

That would be incompatible with a table like you've linked to, as the table would put you too far away from the window opening to make it easy to use.

So I apologise that it's not a link to something like you're after, but at least it might be 'food for thought'.

Of course camping might not be why you want the table.... I'll get my coat... Donald

If you do not find one, that would be exceptionally easy to get fabricated Thumbs Up

If you look for 'sand ladder bracket foldable' there are a number of solutions that double up as tables.
(sorry for the German links but you'll get the idea)
I particularly like this one, so I wouldn't need a stool Wink

Here’s ours, same as Gary’s ( Wyvern’s) only difference is we had a 1.5mm plate with folded corners made to form a table ( maxtrax are uneven on the reverse side)

as Timcat has said, there are lots of options if you wish to go along the side table route.
We have sand ladders on one side and when folded down gives us a decent sized table which we use for cooking and making a quick brew when on the road.

Ours are GMB ones and came from Mud-UK and work really well (But I dont think Mud are supplying them at the moment)

As Wyvern has said Mud don’t supply GMB anymore, we bought from them directly & a friend dropped them off in Namibia for us. Great quality & have bought their stuff before.
There were some fixings short & we had a real problem getting them to send them to us ( uk not Namibia)

I have the prometal table winging its way to me as we speak, I can let you know what it’s like when I get it.

From what I can see it’s basically a copy of the rough parts one for half the price. If you want to see the rough part one in use check out the off track family on YouTube, they have one on their 110.

I have a dropdown table from Mat at Tintally Adventure:

https://tintally.com/overlanding

I think Mat took the best bits of designs he'd seen and then got a local fabricator to build his design. The versions he does now include holes spaced specifically for MaxTrax as well now but the slots etc means you can attach most things. Ive had it on for over 6 months now and really pleased. Gets used all the time and coating still looks perfect. Its made from stainless steel so not the lightest but it is a good simple and strong design that doesn't rattle.

Mat was also very good to deal with.

Thanks all for your replies very useful and a good range to look at.

Any idea on the price and timescale for the Tintally one, also what is removing it like as would like to take it off in winter months when tents off etc.

Price for the Tintally one was circa £420 including powder coating. Would be worth contacting Mat for lead-times. Mine was a bit longer as it was the first one of the new design so a bit of to and fro initially.

I am really pleased with quality and design. I was worried about rattling in rough ground but not a squeak up to now.

It fixes to the body via 4 x M8 bolts supplied with Rivnuts, so once set up, taking it off is very quick. I chose to bolt through the panel instead if using rivnuts and then put a large washer on the back to spread the load a bit.

Prometal have broken radio silence, claim to be very busy and will send my table ASAP, was chatting the other day to someone who has knowledge of 2 of their tables that both took 3 months to arrive and both arrived badly packaged and bent so I won’t hold my breath🙄🙄

So the table from Prometal has arrived safe and sound 6 weeks after I ordered it. Good solid table, seems good quality product although the bolts to fix it to the vehicle are far too flimsy, I’ll be putting proper bolts through it so I can put a plate on the inside to spread the load, no biggie.

Fitted the Prometal table today, used my own bolts as I have quite thick walls. Good quality table, no rattles, hard to see how the more expensive equivalents could be much better.
