Gerber, Leatherman etc.
I’m looking to upgrade from a Swiss Army knife to a multi tool. I want one specifically with needle nose type plyers and a screwdriver bit driver that takes standard bits.

I’m taken by the Gerber Centre-Drive at £95.

Anyone with experience of these things offer an option on whether that’s a good choice? 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

Hi Bluest, CO1 started a thread about the Leatherman in Oct 2022 in the for sale section might be worth a search as there are quite a few good comments about them Thumbs Up cheers Paul

Yes, I seen that, there wasn’t really much comment on the specific features or other brands. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

Size is not really an issue for me as it won’t be in my pocket. Doesn’t look like the one pictured has the features I need either. I guess the equivalent Leatherman to the Gerber I’ve seen would be the Wave+? 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

I have both a Leatherman and a couple of Gerbers and I personally prefer the Gerber.
Well engineered and made, and I particularly like the way the pliers slide out( can even be done single handed)

If you want a Leatherman they are doing 25% discount with code NEWYEARTOOLS
According to the email I received today.
That’s at leatherman.co.uk

Nothing to do with me - just on the email gullible circulation list.
