Axle datum points
hi Folks,

Is their any datum points on the chassis that i can check my axle alignment with ?

I know of no such thing. But... Logic would dictate that the distance from the trailing arm outrigger to the trailing arm mounting holes on the axles should be equal left to right. Assuming all the bushes and bolts are in A1 condition that is.

Same for the front, but the radius arms.

United Kingdom 2008 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 HT Stornoway Grey
This will of course be hugely dependant on the chassis being square and all the mounts being in tolerance, as a starting point. Rgds.
