In that case then, it's almost certainly a combination of the things you listed above (probably not colour, particularly).
For what it's worth, if I were in your position I'd remove as many of the add-ons as possible and sell them separately - certainly things like the rack, winch, steering guard and rear drawer - and then drop the starting price by a couple of £k. By and large, I think it's generally accepted that accessories don't always add value and can reduce your market by making the vehicle too specific. You may even make on the deal by selling some of those bits separately. LRA is not wrong. The sum of the parts is almost always more than the cost of the vehicle.
As to your other question about price. This is the only 110 that has sold over £30k (Oct) https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Land-Rover-Defe...7675.l2557 This is the next most expensive 110 to sell (Sep), £28k https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2015-Land-Rover...7675.l2557 There are a few above £20k and the rest are in the £-teens... So, out of all of the Defenders sold in the last three months only 2.6% sold above £20k. Only 0.7% sold for more than £30k. Do not take this the wrong way and I know your 110 is gorgeous, but going on the above you have priced your Defender well above what people of eBay are willing to pay for them. If you want to get the most from your vehicle then either remove the accessories and sell separately or possibly think about entering in to a specialty car auction... There is a chance you might attract a more affluent buyer there. |

You could try some of these car raffle companies, someone posted they offered good money. James

@geobloke, no offence taken. When you look at the numbers like you've laid them out then it does look like the pricing is wrong. But I have a price in mind for mine and below that it's not worth me selling it. And mid 20's isn't cutting it for me
If I strip out the extras and sell the 110, I'm then left with a pile of bits that may not sell in time to pay for the new 110. ROck and hard place springs to mind. Perhaps best to cancel my order and re-evaluate in the new year 110 D250 SE HT 110 USW SOLD RRE HSE Dynamic Gone, wife killed it VOLVO XC60 R Dynamic with some toys Polaris RZR 900XP SOLD |

Those are all valid reasons to either not to sell or to hold out for the price you want. Like you say rock and a hard place. On the bright side you probably get to keep driving the best 4x4xfar... |

Well JLR have outperformed themselves this week. As you all know my order has been in since Sept 21. A few false starts and a couple of reorders.
I was told several months ago that it had been slotted again but they would call/mail to confirm the finer details, I was given rough dates but told not to think of them as concrete dates Well I received a call on Dec 23rd from my sales rep. "I'm just ringing to let you know that your expected build date of mid Dec is now not going to happen. (me thinking, it would of been nice to know this info) Reason being it's already built and on the boat. So to that end, I now need to sell my 110 sharpish or face the possibility of having to cancel my order days before I'm due to collect after a 15 month wait. So my loss could be your gain. I would remove all the extras and sell em separately then sell it as standard truck for a bit less?

I did think of that but I’m then there is the issue of selling the 110 for cheap and left with a pile of parts I need to sell to buy the new Defender. So worse case I could sell the vehicle and not sell the parts, not be able to afford the new one. And then be without a car to get to work with. 110 D250 SE HT

HARD DECISION MADE
Despite lots of PM's over the last few days with a lot of interest, no one has come back with a firm offer. Defender will be stripped back to factory spec tomorrow and be sold Bits being removed will be the following. But a separate for sale thread will be started for them, but to whet the whistle Warn 9.5 winch in bumper with bowrope Spare new unused bowrope Steering guard Head unit LED headlights Optimil removable steering wheel kit, incl quick release kit and spare boss to mount at home Webasto Airtop 2000 Split charge kit Cargo barrier with all fittings MSS longline storedrawer MSS cubby box Roof bars. 2 pairs Patriot 2.4 rack and rear ladder Aux fuel tank Privacy glass for second row doors, still in packaging from Duckworths Scan guage Brand new unused ECU BAS remap tool, need to speak to Pete to sort the transfer over to your vehicle I have a BAS intercooler fitted but don't have an original to refit if I remove. So if you're local and have a standard unit a deal could be done 110 D250 SE HT 110 USW SOLD RRE HSE Dynamic Gone, wife killed it VOLVO XC60 R Dynamic with some toys Polaris RZR 900XP SOLD |
