Wiper's packed up
Was coming home from up north on the eve of Christmas eve in the rain, wipers on full blast for the last 40 mins.

suddenly, poof they stop in the middle of the windscreen. Get to the services, fuse blown, tried and a new one and it blew immediately. Waited a couple hours and tried it again and it worked fine.

Not been tempted to switch it back on full blast since, I hope I don't need to replace the whole motor but that seems like the obvious solution. The wipers have also never returned to the correct park place so could it just be that switch?

Wipers
Hi,

Have you tried moving them by hand?

If yours has the nylon gear wheels and they are worn, it can jam the rack and it will also stop the motor and blow the fuse- I have had exactly that previously.
