Went down and started the vehicle 10 minutes ago, dashboard lights have disappeared.
Obviously a wet connection, somewhere. |

Had a reoccurrence of the warning lights yesterday afternoon, so took the vehicle into the garage.
No warning lights this morning but the garage plugged in the diagnostic reader and reset the fault. Said it could be the ABS pump on its way out. 5 minutes after leaving the garage, going round a bumpy corner, warning lights re-appeared. I'm not really happy on taking a punt that it might be the ABS pump seeing that it's bloody expensive but at this point I think a second opinion is probably necessary. |

Could be a loose/failing wheel speed sensor?

I've had this problem twice now, the first time it was the shuttle valve failure on the ABS pump, the second time it was a wheel speed sensor that had come out of the housing a bit. ON both occasion reading the ABS fault codes narrowed the problem down easily. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

You won't get a code with a generic OBD2 reader, the Wabco isn't OBD2 compliant. 1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

Well, I had nearly the same. It was a faulty sensor. I bought the cheapest I could get (25 €) and my garage got another 25 € for changing the front sensor. Problem solved (more than 50.000 km now). By the way the LR garage wanted more than 500 €!!!

I’m away at the moment, so haven’t had a chance to follow up.
I have though decided to order myself a Nanocom and the 15% Christmas discount will pay for the courier. Once I receive it in the New Year, I’ll report back on the error codes. |
