Hi,
My Enduro Runway AT's are getting a bit tired and I was wondering........... Do I..... Buy 3 more Enduro as I have a new spare circa £290 Move to AT2/ BFG AT/ New Cooper ST Maxx circa £500 I have looked at all the posts/ googled forever and still can't decide ![]() The truck is used for general abuse/ short motorway journeys 30miles/ laning with local club and in Norfolk - the Enduros have been brilliant, never let me down but they are starting to go out of shape/ tread wearing unevenly (circa 30k) according to a tyre fitter who balanced the tyres. MT's always look attractive, but I do masses more road miles 9k to 1k approx. Any views/ experience appreciated. Steve ![]() Discovery 3 HSE BMW 330i Coupe |

BFG ATs. Quiet, great for laning and last for ever and have the snow mountain symbol. BM52

I've been very pleased with my General Grabber AT2s. Lots of grip in all situations, tough sidewalls for greenlaning (so far!
![]() So far had ~35k out of them with still a fair bit of life left. |

I'm a big AT2 fan. Great in the rough stuff but quiet, composed and long lasting on road. They're also slightly cheaper than BFG's

I'm on BFG AT's and i rate them better than my at2's, no side wall damage with the BFg either, went through a few with the AT2 in respect to side wall damage

T1G UP,
Are KM2 a realistic option for mainly road driving, albeit keen laning/ some offroading? What about traction in the wet/ snow & ice? Thanks, Steve ![]() Discovery 3 HSE BMW 330i Coupe |

not had any issues. Great grip in the wet, snows OK as they clear easily. |

I've had BFGAT and AT2 on my last Discovery TD5.
BFG's were on for 80,000 miles, and I sold them with 5mm of tread for £40 on Gumtree! Sound tyre in every way, handled greenlanes and road work great, good in snow. I think they had tougher sidewalls. AT2's were about £25/corner cheaper so I went for them after the BFG's. IMHO they were slightly better in snow, but not quite as good on-road (they "tram lined" more than BFG, and I don;t think they cornered quite as well). I couldn't tell any difference off road, in the relatively small amount of offroading I do. I only had the AT2's for 50,000 miles before I sold the vehicle, I don't think they would have lasted quite as many miles as the BFG's. If price were the same, I would use BFG every time. But with AT2's being 20% cheaper (i.e. £100 cheaper for a set) it makes the choice harder... Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's) |

I am very impressed with BFG ATs in terms of noise and grip. At one point I was going to black out the white lettering but decided sod it they're a brilliant tyre so let the world know ! Yesterday I scrubbed them up and to quote Glynparry they're loud and proud ! There are also great deals on them at places like Paddocks.
