I would love to be able to schedule an appointment to drive it over to LR Retrofits, but my Defender is on the wrong side of an ocean. I'm thinking of a DIY since, as they say, "I am my own warranty". I have the GAP tool, but trying to figure a few things out before I start dropping money into the project. Just a few Q's in case anyone knows:
- I believe the retrofit would include replacing the mirror and the camera (on the sharkfin). Does anyone know if the cabling is already installed? I've scoured the crappy parts diagrams and can't find anything re: it.
- I haven't found the settings in the CCF for it. Anyone know which one? I'll keep scrolling thru the list just in case I missed it.

Thanks for any insights, thoughts, or even heckling for trying to do this (if it's humorous enough...)

It might be worth keeping a check on vehicle breakers to see if a crash damaged one comes in, that you can buy the parts from.

There's already been a couple broken for parts in the U.K.

I've just had a quick scan through the CCF file and you may want to have a look at

MultiCAN-711 Interior Mirror Variant
IRVM

Not sure that's it without looking at what the options for the setting are but it may be the place to start Thumbs Up Cheers Ian
