Wales 2000 Defender 90 Td5 HT Barolo Black
No drive to rear axel
Hi all,

not sure if there’s a sub for this already but I’m having an issue with the drive to my rear axle on my td5 defender 90. It drives great but when ever I’m off road and I get stuck the front wheels spin and I don’t seem to have any drive at the rear? Could the previous owner have changed it? Is something broken? (There’s no bad noises that i can hear) or am I just being a tit and just doing it wrong? 😂

Thanks in advance for any advice and input

With the center diff unlocked, lever to the right, only one wheel will spin, the one with lowest grip.
With tye center diff locked, lever to the left, 2 wheels will spin, one on front and one on rear axle, usually diagonally. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing
