Diff guard

Evening
I’ve purchased the Ratel-x front and rear diff guards for my 2003 90xs . Watching the install video only shows a discovery install. On my defender rear I’m struggling with the fuel tank in the way would you usually have to drop this to install

Have you tried jacking it up, rest the chassis on axle stands, and let the axle drop down as far as possible? Perhaps remove the road wheels if your axle stands are not tall enough.

Dropping the tank on a 90 is easier said than done, and would be my last resort. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing

Much easier when you have it jacked up and on stands 😂
