Do you have a warning light on dash?

When you turn ignition off then on again does light disappear, to then come on as soon as you touch the acc pedal?
If so you have a damaged loom between ecu and pedal. |

It comes on then goes off for a split second then back on without touching the throttle

Does the code say “driver demand error” or similar?
The loom goes over the gearbox area, and wears through the insulation, which have caused others, myself included, problems. |

Check that the wiring loom which runs around the back of the transfer box & along the LHS of the gearbox hasn't been pinched/damaged by the clutch change.

So i have just checked the plug at the throttle and there is no voltage to any of the pins, does the throttle have its own loom to the ecu or does it join a main loom?

Joins the main loom.
Either two or three track pedal. One goes 0-5v, the other goes 5-0v, and with a three track one is duplicated. Can’t remember which. |

Thanks for all the help, turned out that the throttle was wired through a faulty VDO so just repined the throttle loom back to the ECU and worked straight away.
