Fitting allisport 200tdi intercooler to 300tdi
Hi all,

As per the title really. Does anyone know if the 200tdi full width allisport intercooler will fit a 300tdi?

I know the stock intercooler output pipes are slightly different but from all the photographs I can find searching google the allisport 200tdi pipes appear to come off the intercooler the same as the 300tdi version.

Can only seem to find 200tdi defender or 300tdi disco intercoolers at the moment.

Would be most grateful for opinions. Thanks!

I just bought an airtech full width for my 300tdi defender, a little cheaper than Allisport but is immediately available. Fits very easily and plumbs straight in. I found the cheapest place to be here

You won’t find it via a menu on their site, I found it by a Google search. 2015 RRS Autobiography SDV6

Airtec are brilliant quality- I’ve had one before and will definitely buy one again. 2008 2.4 110 Utility Station Wagon XS.

Thanks for the link Dave, that is a bit cheaper than I had found.

I had looked at their stuff but everyone raves about allisport and the importance of design so I was dubious of airtech. I suppose without a direct comparison between them it is difficult to know if there is a slight difference in performance.

How did fitting this go? Was it necessary to cut the safety catch for the bonnet as with the allisport?

Thank you. Must buy a welder first then!

Ah, didn't realise that was an option. All the allisport guides show the catch being cut and welded.

Airtech must have known I was looking because its just gone in to sale at £365... Very tempting!
