Adaptive cruise control - Not available
First day of driving and whilst in adaptive cruise control, all of a sudden it flashes up a warning and tells me to take control as the adaptive cc isn't available..

A few minutes later a message popped up to press and hold the CC distance setting button to disable adaptive CC. Which I eventually did.

Then I pressed and held the same button again, to find the problem was now fixed and adaptive CC was back up and running...

Wondering if anyone else had encountered such a glitch? Any cause? I wondered if it was a wet leaf on the sensor or something..

I’ve had this a couple of times in 3 months of ownership and it soon resolved itself. Like you I suspect a sensor was momentarily blocked. MY25 110 D350 X-Dynamic HSE Pangea Green

In the user manual I found that heavy braking by external traffic can overwhelm the system and it will force you to take control. Perhaps that's what happened with me.

Check that your cameras at the top of the windscreen don’t have bits of leaves or hardened on dead bugs on the cam area and also check the Land Rover badge on the front grille is clean as the “radar” for the ACC is behind it. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

A couple more months in and it has happened - but only in adverse weather - very heavy rain or snow.

You can toggle the adaptive cruise on/off using a hold of the distance buttons. after a while it resets and is ok again.
