hi all
have read another thred that deals with a similar problem, but as i am not to sure if the other is dealing with throtle responce in low or high ration, i have posted this question. when i select low ratio, engage gears and start moving off, the engine tries to rev almost as if it is an antistall setup. if i accellerate, and then let off the throtle it stops doing it for a few seconds then starts again. this only happens in low ratio. it's a bit of a problem when trying to desend rocks as i was at the weekend, and trying to hold the car with the gears, caused a few hairy moments. anybody any ideas as to what this could be? i should point out, that i have had an auto box fitted. The AC fan was always a great trick for me to control revs. Mike

Grockle
have already thought about that, but the chaps at stirling who i use are pretty good, and the have said that the warrenty will not be affected by what i have had done. i do not think it is a major issue, and it is something that i can live with, makes it easier to go up hills as i do not have to hold onto the hnad controls. thanks agian.
