There is this good thread, worth going through.
https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic77821...rt+rubbish I still need to post my latest mishap with Britpart Aftermarket parts... just simple hub nuts locking washers for early axles. What can go wrong with simple washers? Well, they are oversized in diameter, and excentic, so they rub against the driving member. Luckily I noticed before using... else would have caused bearing failure from the metal shavings!! Edit: I just checked my order for the parts, and it is only stated as Aftermarket, so in all fairness, it could have been any supplier. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing 2012 90 CSW, 2.2TDCI, Santorini Black Last edited by Dinnu on 16th Nov 2022 8:22pm. dont buy anything Britpart that is made by them and safety critical, I would only buy cosmetic items or branded items from them and only then if they were the only supplier. DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS,
I hope everyone is well and your land rovers make you happy |

To me, Britpart is the supplier of last resort.

Well my Britpart door handle just broke after opening the door about 5 times and my britpart mud flaps tore and fell off after 4 months, does anyone know of better quality parts as replacements?, a set of genuine front and rear mudflaps are $400 Australian posted, I'm thinking thats the best option.
