rear door wont open
my22 110 commercial.

Very odd. Pull the handle/button and it releases the first "bit" and the door unlatches the first half inche etc. pull/touch it again and it simply wont release to fully open.

Any ideas? Anyone else having this issue? Vehicle is unlocked etc.

I would suspect the self-close module in the centre of the door, see photo above.

The module also controls the position of the door, fully open, part open or not open at all.

I frequently get this and put it down to oversensitive soft closing that doesn’t let me react fast enough before it grabs the door closer and shuts it again Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

LRN, what's the point of the first part of the opening? it doesnt actually open, just lets it out half an inch if that.
