i brought a momo quick release one of the best ones and it stuck out to far best thing to do is to buy a weld on one you weld the quick release boss on and then your steering wheel goes onto that one boss Very Happy

Couple of threads you may be interested in. I too looked at smaller wheels but decided I wanted to retain visibility of the instruments....All you need to know about splines/bosses etc. too and some good pictures to boot!

If your putting a smaller wheel on i recommend you put on the quick release..... It make the wheel stick out a little more and you can then see the instruments as before Thumbs Up

This is the one i have great bit of kit Mr. Green

I have the same one fitted to my 300tdi, though I had to buy an additional steering wheel boss from DLS to allow my Momo wheel to fit onto it..

Though mine was the 48 spline version I think? Its this boss that makes my steering wheel stick out a little further. The quick release boss works a treat though.
