Cheers for that again - the 130 up at Pentland in Stirling is an X model in all black - it does look good but the price is horrendous at @100K

Dealer is hoping to get mine in this week sometime

Went to see the 130 at weekend as dealer has taken delivery, unfortunately what they are offering as a trade in has dropped almost 5k in a couple of weeks, coincidence or what.....?

WBAC have dropped their valuation 3k in 2 weeks , other dealers and motorway are keen to buy it but only at a mad knockdown price

Dealers also have 130s in stock which they aren’t allowed to sell as they are showroom display models only

I’d assume it was normal for prices to dip on the run up to Christmas now. Come Feb/March they should pick back up a little. But maybe by then new orders will be flying through and the 2nd hand market peak will have popped. Who knows. It’s all a guessing game. It was only ever going to last so long..it’s not normal for a used car to be more expensive than a brand new one.. 2008 2.4 110 Utility Station Wagon XS.

Current diesel prices won’t be helping either although I noticed yesterday that my nearest Sainsbury forecourt price has dropped from £1.899 a litre last Friday to £1.819 yesterday. Are prices now feeding the consequences of the Truss / Kwartang fiasco and its effect on the value of the pound against the dollar in the last month Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come

The 5 seat version of the 130 does have a flat floor though, only the 8 seater version doesn't to accommodate the 3rd row of seats when folded

Simon’s latest video is him taking delivery of what looks like a brand new D300 X 90 - doesn’t say if he’s chopped in the Stig against it or it’s another addition to their collection

I ended up eventually cancelling my Defender 130 order

We went up a week ago to see it as it just arrived off back of lorry, at exactly the same time the trade-in value of my current defender mysteriously dropped over 4K

Given the attitude of the salespeople and their manager we walked away- think they thought the sale was sure thing no matter what tripe they thought they could get away with.

So looks like a BMW X7 for us in the new year, can't be ersed with crappy attitudes or land rovers sh!te customer service anymore

I have been putting up with LR crap sales service for many years.

BUT when I got the same service and paid 'twice' as much as I normally would, I fell out of love with the 110. It sat on my drive, not being used, for two weeks.

Then I had to start driving it. Sales Person was poor, Sales Manager was not much better.

You can get it serviced at an independent Land Rover specialist, it's about half the price and they often have ex Land Rover technicians.

My local one is family owned and they're really good. For general servicing mine will go there, obviously they can't do warranty work though.

We have always thought the rear space in the 110 should have been more equally distributed between boot space and rear seats, it is a shame the 5 seater does not allow the rear seats to be moved forward.

The head height is great for the large dogs we have, the depth not so much once we put the cage in to keep them safe whilst driving.

We were going to have a look at the 130, in order to gain the extra boot space, now seeing it is not flat, means it is not ever going to be on our radar. Seems a strange lack of thought from LR.

With the current ongoing issues of our 110, to get extra space for the dogs, if we go that way, other than the Discovery 5, sadly I think we would have to look at non LR options.
