Couldn’t agree more Steve, the state of driving in this country has dropped through the floor very recently, since Covid I think. Not sure why it’s also suddenly become acceptable to use your phone whilst driving now either, again since covid it’s gotten considerably worse.

Changed the front right calliper and front pads, minor leak from one piston, for me easier to replace than try to refurbish. Now the vehicle is back on the road I will refurbish at my leisure the calliper that came off so I have a spare, and can do it in the future if I need to.

Passed another MOT, two minor advisories that I was pretty much aware of anyway so all good with that.
Can’t believe how quickly it’s came around since the last one. KEEP CALM AND Drill ON 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |

The standard windscreen washer is made of 2 parts... but is a problem when it separates at the wrong place !
It eventually split at the location that it should, but the damage was already done. Click image to enlarge 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing 2012 90 CSW, 2.2TDCI, Santorini Black |

For possibly the second time ever, cleaned it. The top of it anyway. I’ve spent a lot more time keeping the oily underneath bits nice.
Of course it rained immediately afterwards. Picture with its new stablemate: Click image to enlarge |

Removed 1 out of 3 thermostats from my 2007 Puma. Not sure but I rekon only 2007 models had this one fitted.

After doing my oil service this week - today I took the old oil to the recycling centre and gave the car a little test drive whilst I was at it. Felt nice and smooth but that could totally just be my imagination.

Done the old prop shaft greasing regime and the other bits and pieces that needs periodic greasing.
At least it wasn’t raining. Hoping to change the diff oil soon. KEEP CALM AND Drill ON 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |
