Here's the front arch liners.

Don't all defenders have these fitted? I've never seen one without? They separate engine bay and the wheel so there has to be something there.

Both my 200tdi 90 and tdci 90 and tdci 110 all had them fitted anyway.

Yes it would be fairly easy to trim a big standard car mudflap and bolt it to the front of it I guess too

Yes, mine has the standard front wheel arch liners too.
Maybe my pictures were not obvious - so, to make it clear:- I added rubber under the lower fixings for these to cover the chassis outrigger to rear - and extend to cover the bumper to the front.

I think the confusion has come about because the parts picture shown in this thread only shows the basic inner wheel arch which every defender has. In addition to this some models also have a 2nd plastic inner wheelarch which normally also has a layer of soundproof padding stuck to it as well. Although mentioned on the parts page the plastic liner is not shown in the photos. Also worth noting that even with the additional plastic liner fitted this does not cover the exposed areas of the bulkhead/outrigger. You would have to add addition material as MYONEHERE has done to add further protection to these vulnerable areas! Smile

Never seen those before. It looks like a neat solution. Darren
