[For Sale] Off topic.. 1968 Chevrolet C10 Stepside v8
Something a little different…
‘68 C10. (The C10 scene in the States is MASSIVE, every single thing including body panels are available as new).
Brought over from the States about 5 years ago by a friend of mine (along with 3 others) this was the first to be sorted for the road and he was intending to keep it. The cab underneath had any rot cut out and replaced. Disc brake up front, coils front and back.
Chevy small block v8.. it’s ‘HOT ROD’ loud and sounds amazing with the distinct chevy sound.
4 speed manual, tall gearing, so will cruise at 70 comfortably. It rides really nice, better than a Defender!
Led lights up back for safety ( mate had his young daughter as passenger, so safety was paramount) including 3 seat belts.
Power steering.
Free tax.
No MOT required (historic vehicle).
Inside is all original, bench seat, original steering wheel, dash, radio etc.
£15,500

Now that is quite frankly very cool indeed.

When you look at the cost/price of other offerings, that’s a heck of a lot of machine for that money.

Unfortunately my wallet isn’t very full at the moment ☹️

Cheers. Believe me, that is a very, very good price!

I frequently do the 50 mile commute in it!

I get thumbs up all over the place, people driving past taking photos, photos when I’m even sat in it etc etc.
One guy sat in traffic on the opposite side of the road wound his window down and hung out of his van with both thumbs up Laughing

Parked up Peugeot’s seem to not like it… it sets off their alarms when driving past Mr. Green

It’s similar wheelbase to a 110, but without the over hang. It will fit in my garage , but i wouldn’t be able to open my toolbox drawers!
Here’s some crude dimensions…

*it’s the more desirable short bed, wheelbase.
It’s not lpg, i’m not sure on mpg but i’d say mid to high teens, it’s certainly better than the 90!

Maybe you’re being modest - maybe it’s you that is attracting all the attention…

Beautiful! If I had the cash I'd be round like a shot to have a look. My Wife loves these flare side pick-ups too so wouldn't even have any trouble seeking appproval! 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS
