The upstand on the Defender was looking a bit frilly, and with the boys growing up (it's the family car) we needed proper high back second row seats.
Puma would look smashing.... but how much! 
So, managed to find a full set of 3 way split early defender seats with, importantly, all the brackets.  Click image to enlarge I sent the frames away to be burnt clean and powder coated and ordered the new Exmore Trim backs and bases. Next from YRM I ordered all the parts to replace the upstand and the galvenised mid crossmember with brackets and all stainless fixings. So, when all the bits had arrived, it was time to take out the old seats and cut out the grotty floor. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge With having all new everything I could be nice and vicious with the old bolts to get the crud out - the mid crossmember was in better nick than it looked but the new will last much longer. They were made by exmoor trim years ago. They move the backrest up and back by 2 inches and it improves rear legroom. They are now like rocking horse poo to find
