Can anyone identify this plug sensor beneath the turbo on my 2007 2.4 tdci? It’s not connected to anything I’ve searched on microcat but can’t identify what it’s for or if it should be connected!

Cool thanks for clarifying 👍 Next question , what oil should I put in the engine ...😆 Just kidding
I’ve the engine on the floor and have replaced the clutch, rear crank seal, vacuum pump, egr valve and currently replacing the injector seals and the seals where the injector pass thru the rocker cover. I’ve read the posts on the timing chain and how it’s not as robust as the td5. I’m leaning towards a kit with the sprockets and new cover. My question is are there brands to avoid or is there a generally accepted good supplier? paddocks and Craddock are expensive compared to transit parts uk |

There is no "throttle body" on a TDCi (nor TD5 for that matter).
