I have the Land Rover rear cargo protection mat fitted, but you have to remove it
to put the 3rd row up ![]() MY20 110 P400 SE Defender MY10 3.0 RR Sport |

Likewise, I also have the OEM rubber boot mat.
It’s a good product. Easily rinsable and hard wearing. I don’t think there is any 1 solution that fits when the 3rd row is up as well as down. The space behind the 3rd row is so small anyways.. Unless you’re fitting a toy poodle whose also not claustrophobic it would seem really uncomfortable for anything with breath. 22MY Defender 110 D300 S in Pangea Green and Contrast White Roof IG defender_japan "Hulk san" |

Can’t fault new Defender parts boot mat for £60. Really it’s designed for 5 seaters but as others have said there’s no 7 seater one on the market. Perhaps get one custom made? 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue

Thanks All - really helpful.
The Dealer has thrown in the 5 seater rubber boot protector (£168) for free, which I'm sure we'll make do with and protect the 3rd row when dropped - which is most of the time. I guess I was hoping for something which might attach to the back of the 3rd row and flex vertically when the 3rd row is up, rather than having to take the whole thing out. But I guess the bootspace really is very small when the 3rd row is up, we'll have to put Doggo on the roofrack.. I may well look at waterproof fabrics (we have a rear seat sling for the dog at the moment that's a mix of heavy fabric and waterproofing which might work). Thanks for your help |
